For 20 years New Zealand’s own Salmonella Dub have commanded concert halls and stadiums across the world, while paving a uniquely distinctive and thrilling musical path, blending dub, rock, jazzy horns, drum’n’bass, electronica and reggae. Music this complex, but which sounds organic and effortless, is the result of hard work and much consideration – a true sign of an enduring act.

Same Home Town – New Single Out Now!

Celebrating 20 + years of Salmonella Dub

It is over 20 years since we played our first shows around the South Island of Aotearoa. Fitting that we now celebrate this milestone with the release of our new single ‘Same Home Town‘ from the bands 8th studio album due out next year.
Same Home Town’  is released on 12″ vinyl from the outlets listed HERE and digital download, and includes remixes from good friends Dub FxOrganikismness plus Tui Soundsystem’s remix of ‘Thats What I Want’  .

Same Home Town is dedicated to the Dux De Lux, in Christchurch – the first of many Otautahi venues to host the band in our infancy back in 1993.

Same Home Town video

The video for ‘Same Home Town’ was produced by Mardo El-Noor. It uses signs to represent a metaphoric journey back to the bands home town Christchurch.
